Overview
The Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx should be the first stops on your travel itineraries. Spend four days on your cruise on the Nile, during which you will have the opportunity to see the Abu Simbel temples. The High Dam, the Vail Temple in Aswan, and the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu. Visit the Valley of the Kings and the Colossi of Memnon in the West Bank. Both are worth the time. Make your way to Bahariya Oasis in the middle of the black-and-white desert to begin your safari experience.
Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
On the day of your arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our representative and assisted at Cairo International Airport. You will then be taken to the hotel where you will stay overnight.
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx
After breakfast, half day tour will start with visiting Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx. Lunch during the tours, and the rest of the evening, enjoy a free-roaming night of entertainment around the city. Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.
Day 3: The Tower, High Dam, Felucca around Elephantine Island
After breakfast, you will transfer to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight to Aswan; after arrival, you will be transferred to Nile Cruise. Check in before lunch and then visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk.
Return to the Nile Cruise boat and have lunch on board. Afterward, you will have a felucca or motorboat ride around Elephantine Island and the Botanical Garden. Once you are done, you will return to the Nile Cruise boat and enjoy an overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 4: Abu Simbel / Kom Ombo / Edfu
A tour of the temples of Abu Simbel. Then sail to Kom Ombo and visit Kom Ombo Temple. Then you will sail to Edfu while enjoying dinner on board and overnight accommodation on your Nile cruise.
Day 5: Edfu / Esna / Luxor
After breakfast, you will start the day by visiting Edfu Temple, dedicated to the god Horus (by horse-drawn chariot). After sailing to the Esna Lock, you will cross and continue sailing to Luxor. You are followed by a one-night stay on board your Nile cruise.
Day 6: Karnak, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Luxor to Cairo.
After breakfast, depart from your Nile Cruise, then visit Karnak and Luxor Temples in the East Bank, Valley of the Kings, then the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon in the West Bank, you will be escorted to Luxor and take your flight to Cairo. End the day with an overnight stay at your hotel in Cairo.
Day 7: Cairo / Bahariya / White and Black Desert
Early morning transfer with our truck to Bahariya Oasis, about 4 hours' drive, 340 kilometers from Cairo.
Arrive at Bawiti, the capital of the oasis that occupies the hills. After lunch, our tour will begin with visiting the black desert surrounding Bahariya Oasis, where iron in the desert is one of the reasons for the black rocks.
You will walk to explore Jabal Al-Marsous (The Divided Mountain), then drive towards the small Bedouin village of Al-Hiz, then make your way to the White Desert 160 km on/off the road, you will stop at Jabal Al-Kristal and forests of the Sharqiya, the Acacia Tree, pass through the sands of the White Desert with its creamy, chalky landscape, and wind-carved mushroom-shaped formations that resemble human and animal faces.
Tonight you will watch the sunset over the magnificent desert sands, have dinner under the stars and stay overnight in your hotel.
Day 8: Bahariya Oasis / Cairo
Wake up from a peaceful night, have breakfast, and head back through the White Desert. The English mountain will be visited by sunset. British forces used the old English outpost because it showed strategic views of the area and back to Cairo.
Day 9: Final departure
After breakfast, our representative will accompany you to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight back to your home country.
